DAY TWO: In PicturesA photo essay of my second day in
Chicago.
Approx. 5:30am Chicago
Time.
![]() Much has not been done. And Channel 9 needs that B-Roll. ![]() Lo-tech ghetto Radio Shack patch job. Note: This would appear to be fairly damning evidence of piracy... oops! ![]() ![]() I was tired, but too tired to sleep. Approx. 2:00pm ![]() We had to make a few changes at the last minute. But Nels and I deliver the precious cargo to WGN. We were unable to meet Bozo, but consider ourselves successful in our mission. BAM! : Rear Ended ![]() ![]() ![]() We don't have time for this, we are supposed to be dropping stuff off at Channel 11. Neither car had any real damage (well maybe the other guy did but it was his fault). The two cars were stuck together because the other driver had impaled himself of the tow- hitch thingy. Traffic built up immediately. Onlookers came out of every corner. Everyone had some kind of useless advice. Only one guy wanted to help. Soon we were free. LATER: Missions complete and ready to begin a long night of hard work, we stop at Trader Vic's in the basement of The Palmer House (a swanky hotel in the city) for a cocktail. Nels was efficient at spreading the word about the festival... ![]() ![]() ![]() I was distracted... ![]() ![]() And now, if you'll excuse me. I have some work to do. Toby.
